A father of an Oklahoma family was beaten to death by five police officers after a confrontation outside a local movie theater.

The killing is currently under investigation, and three police officers have been placed on administrative leave as the probe unfolds.

The incident occurred February 14 in Moore, Oklahoma, when an argument erupted between Nair Rodriguez and her daughter Lunahi. Nair slapped her daughter during the dispute and ended up leaving the theater. When Luis Rodriguez chased after his wife in a bid to stop her, law enforcement officials intervened and asked for his identification.

According to NewsOK, police claim that Luis Rodriguez attempted to fight with police and that led to a physical altercation. Nair and Lunahi, however, told local media outlet News9 that allegation is false, and that Luis simply tried to bypass officers to keep his wife from driving off in anger.

As the confrontation escalated, five police officers allegedly beat Luis Rodriguez beyond recognition, a situation captured on a video by Nair’s cell phone.

“They jumped on him like he was some kind of killer or drug dealer and beat him up,” Lunahi Rodriguez said to NewsOK. “He never fought the officers, they beat him on the head and that's how he lost his breath.”

"When they flipped him over you could see all the blood on his face, it was, he was disfigured, you couldn't recognize him,” she added to News9.

Although paramedics were already at the scene responding to a separate incident, Luis Rodriguez could not be revived. According to Nair Rodriguez, it was clear her husband had died as soon as the beating was over.

"I saw him. His [motionless] body when people carry it to the stretcher. I knew that he was dead,” she said.

Afterwards, police asked Nair what happened and she said her husband was just trying to break up a fight between her and her daughter.

According to a spokesman for the Moore Police Department, police confiscated Nair Rodriguez’s phone as evidence, though it's unclear whether or not they’ve watched the video yet.

The U.S. is now focused on the Chinese Military build up after more than a decade of it's focus being on the Middle East.

The Pentagon has dropped 400 U.S. and Thai Pacific combat troops into the Asia Pacific region as a sign that they are prepared and are watching China's growing military and to address threats made towards US allies in the region. Currently the U.S. fears instability with its allies as Beijing flexes it's military might in a show of dominance.

Last week during the Cobra Gold exercise. the US dropped a crack airborne task force into central Thailand. They were the first American boots on Asian soil since the change in military and foreign policy posture.

The drill was to seize and secure an airfield at Lop Buri, 90 miles north of Bangkok, amid a humanitarian catastrophe. The American Paratroopers from the 4-25 stationed outside of Anchorage, Alaska were involved in the drill.

"the strategic aim of the exercise was to demonstrate to Beijing’s communist leadership how fast and effective the U.S. can be in supporting its Asian allies, all of whom lie in a tight arc around China -- from India and Nepal through Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia to South Korea and Japan. "Said leading commanders of Operation Cobra Gold.

War it seems will happen, yet when and where it starts is only a guess, one thing is for certain the military industrial complex has a firm grip on the "go" button for war.

Nations in the east are quickly taking sides and making alliances ahead of what appears to be a global conflict. Last week we reported on how China after 67 years has become an Allie of Taiwan, in what appears to be a unified front in defense of what the two nations feel is their waters and Islands, that currently Japan claims sovereignty over.  The media barely spoke about the alliance, yet rather the media seemed focused on North Korea's crimes against humanity.

According to major news outlets, North Korea has a brutal state "that does not parallel in any other in the contemporary world."

Reports claim North Korea uses murder, torture, slavery, sexual violence and mass starvation as tools to keep the population inline.

"The suffering and tears of the people of North Korea demand action," commission Chairman Michael Kirby told reporters.

The latest news seems horrible and its made to feel like a new development in the region but our government has known about how the North Korean government and how it abuses its citizens for decades. This begs the question, "Why now?"

The reasons why are clear. North Korea will take the side of China considering the communist connection between the two. These news releases are meant to make the American public feel the North Koreans are evil and deserve war. Similar to how we treated the Japanese in WW2 and how the public was OK with Japanese Americans being put in concentration camps.

Why must we be the global police? We have many problems in this country that needs the public's attention and for once we should let another nation take the lead in North Korea. Sadly, it seems we are being forced into the next major conflict just by taking the side of the Philippines and Japan on the major issues that concern the east.

In the next few weeks we will hear and see more alliances being shaped and a lot more veiled threats being made by the communist alliance towards Japan and the U.S.A.

North Korea has the third largest military in the world with over 10 million men and women fit for military and 1.2 million in active duty. China has the second largest military with 318 million fit for service and 2.2 million active personal. The United States has 1.4 million in active duty and 119 million men and women fit for the military.
